I am your hostess, Pilar Franco, originally from Trieste and now enjoying a quieter life up in the hills of this beautiful, small village. With the help of my family, I have transformed what was a forgotten and neglected “diamond in the rough” into a unique hospitality experience.

Our restaurant, with an elegant atmosphere and a lovely garden, is the perfect place to savor culinary reations that focus on seasonality and local proximity to our inn.
Leading our kitchen is Chef Davide Tonetti, a finalist on MasterChef Season 9, and a Santa Croce terroir food enthusiast! Guiding the brigade in creating an elegant and straightforward cuisine, Davide uses high-quality raw materials, often sourced from small local producers. Our menu changes regularly, offering options for all palettes, from animal proteins to vegetarian cuisine, and with special attention to gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives.
Our commitment to our guests is to create an inclusive experience where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. In addition to local, elevated cuisine, Crocevia boasts unique features, such as an ancient well from the 1800’s transformed into a dining table with a glass top (so you can see down inside), a cellar carved into the rock under the inn, and an intimate garden enclosed by stunning walls of Karst stone.
